Hello! My name is Wendy Solbak and I am thrilled to be a part of the FMIS community as the school counsellor. I began my teaching career at Westwood High School as a Social Studies and English teacher where I taught for several years before taking some time off to be at home with my two daughters. I am looking forward to supporting students, staff and parents in my role and anticipate building positive connections throughout the school year. It is my philosophy that when people feel seen and heard they excel and thrive.  I will seek to promote this in my interactions at the school each day.
