Spelling Bee of Canada

SBOC is a non-profit organization that was established in the greater Toronto area in 1987 and led to the development of Ontario Spelling Bee. The primary goal of this organization is to encourage young people to expand their vocabulary, communication skills, and self-confidence. Preparing for the spelling bee contest is effectively helping the students achieve these goals. So far, over 50,000 students participated in the contest from different regions in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
Spelling bee contest is conducted in three different categories; primary (6-8 yrs b.b. 2010-2012), junior (9-11 yrs b.b. 2007-2009) and intermediate (12-14yrs b.b 2004-2006). See attached flyer for more details. The venue will be announced at a later date. We advise students to register at earliest possible to get access to the word list and start their preparation. Deadline for the registrations: 31st Dec 2018
